We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Financial Lead to join our team at Seera Associates in downtown Toronto. This position offers a highly visible and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial reporting and analysis processes of corporate operations.

The successful candidate will manage the consolidation and summary of financial results for companies within the corporate segment on a quarterly and annual basis, ensuring compliance with internal management and regulatory reporting requirements.

In this role, you will lead the execution of complex technical accounting tasks, coordinating across business units and departments. You will also drive efficiency by leading monthly financial close cycles and identifying practical process improvement opportunities.

As a key member of our finance team, you will oversee finance responsibilities in treasury and accounts payable shared service functions. You will regularly engage with other business groups and departments to address finance inquiries and foster strong inter-departmental relationships.

You will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential for success in this role.

We are looking for an individual with 4–6 years of progressive experience in accounting or auditing roles, including a minimum of 2 years in industry settings. Exposure to public company reporting requirements under IFRS is also required.

A professional accounting designation (CPA) is mandatory. Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel is expected, as well as strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, HFM, and/or Workiva is an asset. Self-motivation, proactivity, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
