We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, the successful candidate will support the team on internal strategy initiatives, financial modeling, strategy, valuation, and M&A due diligence. Our team takes great pride in providing actionable recommendations in a timely manner as markets and competitive dynamics evolve.

Job Overview:

Our Corporate Finance team plays a crucial role in driving strategic decision-making across the organization. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of complex financial models, perform in-depth analysis, and create data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop advanced internal financial models to provide comprehensive summaries, forecasts, and analyses to senior management
  • Contribute to the preparation of materials, including monthly and quarterly reports, presentations, and ad-hoc requests
  • Participate in corporate finance initiatives, such as recurring analyses, financial modeling efforts, and M&A deal execution
  • Collaborate with functional groups across the organization to gather information and internal insights on prospective acquisition targets
  • Assist with analysis and preparation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for management reporting
  • Support ad-hoc projects, documentation, presentations, and initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience in corporate finance, wealth management, or asset management
  • Fluent in finance and accounting concepts, with an understanding of economic factors affecting valuation
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and capital markets
  • Ability to create, update, and manage financial models and value companies independently
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to learn and work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with other Microsoft Office products, and familiarity with Bloomberg terminal functions are assets
