Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Admiral Glass Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects. This will involve working closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure estimates are accurate and comprehensive
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Liaise with stakeholders to communicate changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in construction estimating
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
