Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Admiral Glass Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects. This will involve working closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and meet the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure estimates are accurate and comprehensive
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide estimates that meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in estimating and cost management
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Proficiency in CADD and other computer software systems
