Job Title: Estimator - Construction

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Admiral Glass Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects. This will involve working closely with our project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure estimates are accurate and comprehensive
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budget
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure estimates are accurate
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
