We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team at Admiral Glass Ltd.

About the Role:

The Senior Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects. This will involve working closely with our project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and meet the requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimating: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of cost reports and presentations.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure that estimates are accurate and meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Communication: Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  • Analysis: Analyze and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction estimating.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CADD and other computer software systems, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
