Job Title: Executive Chef

Bhavani Food(Canada)Corporation is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and recruiting and hiring staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, order supplies and equipment, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and recruit and hire staff.
  • Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 36 to 44 hours per week.
