About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Carl's Jr. as a Head Cook. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers, while ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Work Hours: 36 to 44 hours per week.
