About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Carl's Jr. as a Head Cook. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers, while ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand, while minimizing waste and reducing costs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, and that all equipment and facilities are maintained in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and management skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 36 to 44 hours per week.
