Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Randstad Canada. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing corporate and personal tax returns, assisting management with maintaining and building strong relationships with clients, and processing full-cycle AP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing invoices against contracts and supporting documents, obtaining approvals, processing payments, and filing.
- Updating financial records and reconciling against supporting documents.
- Building relationships and liaising with multiple vendors and suppliers.
- Maintaining historical records and analyzing any discrepancies.
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly and ad-hoc reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience processing full-cycle AP.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Experience reviewing bank statements, preparing reconciliations, and investigating variances.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Organized and with excellent attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with departments.
- Respect for highly confidential information.
