Job Summary:


Accounts Payable Clerk Role:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
  • Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
  • Fulfill full-cycle A/P
  • Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
  • Provide support during internal and external audits
  • Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
  • Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
  • Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
  • Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

Requirements:



  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
