Sales Director

Our client, a leading player in the road transport industry, is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to drive growth and success. As Vice President of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's sales strategy and direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the sales team to secure growth opportunities and achieve business objectives.
- Provide leadership, support, and direction to the sales team, defining succession plans for key sales roles to ensure organizational resilience and continuity.
- Act as a liaison between customers, terminal operations, and cross-functional departments to foster seamless collaboration.
- Refine customer engagement strategies, identify lucrative business prospects, and mitigate potential risks for a sustained competitive advantage.
- Spearhead the development and refinement of sales and lead generation strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive sales performance analyses and craft compelling value propositions and pricing strategies.
- Cultivate and influence decision-makers across all key customer accounts and drive crucial business alliances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Proven track record of 10+ years in sales management, with 5+ years at the executive level, preferably within the transportation/trucking industry.
- Exceptional multi-dimensional business acumen, influencing, and communication skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities and confidence to navigate complex landscapes and drive strategic initiatives.
