At Stonewood Group Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in Canada
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including NAV CANADA and the Department of National Defence
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large and small projects
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Canadian market, including industry trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and sales programs
- Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in sales and business development, ideally with experience working with NAV CANADA and the Department of National Defence
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Experience using lead tracking systems and CRM databases
- Knowledge of procurement approaches used in Canadian government programs
- Ability to obtain and hold a valid Canadian security clearance
