Job Summary

Hotel Arts Group is seeking a highly skilled Banquet Cook to join our team in the Banquets Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary service during our renowned banquets and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present high-quality menu items to meet customer expectations and maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Banquet Sous Chef and other team members to ensure seamless execution of events and banquets.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure all food products are stored, handled, and prepared in accordance with provincial health regulations and food handling techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control food costs, portion sizes, and waste to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hotel standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in a similar position or a journeyman or working toward Red Seal certification.
  • Culinary Education: Culinary educational background an asset.
  • Availability: Flexible weekly schedule/availability.
