We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Venice Restaurant and Banquet. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen helpers, to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Flexibility, organized, and reliable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.
