About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Venice Restaurant and Banquet. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
    • Mentor and develop junior chefs to help them grow and succeed in their careers.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies and ingredients to meet demand.
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards.
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff follow proper food handling and preparation procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
