We are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Specialist to join our team at Homewood Ravensview, a private 75-bed facility located in North Saanich.

About the Role

This is a rewarding career opportunity for a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse to provide direct healthcare services to patients with complex addictions and mental health issues.

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health and addiction risk assessments, formulate treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention.
  • Perform detox assessments, counselling, education, and support to individual patients and groups.
  • Communicate and collaborate with patients and families about health findings, diagnosis, treatment, self-care, and prognosis.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor degree or College Diploma from an accredited Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program.
  • Two years' recent related experience in a mental health and/or substance use setting.
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental disorders, addictions, and concurrent disorders, as well as treatment principles and recovery methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also offer:
