Assistant Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team at Outlook Motor Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Cost Control
Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal profitability.
Operations EvaluationEvaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement, implement changes, and maintain high standards of quality and service.
Revenue ManagementMonitor revenues to determine labor costs, optimize staffing levels, and make data-driven decisions to drive sales growth.
Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality performance.
Inventory ManagementOrganize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
Customer ServiceAddress customer complaints or concerns, providing prompt and professional resolutions to maintain a positive reputation.
Regulatory ComplianceEnforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
Requirements- Experience
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
CertificationsFood and beverage server trade certification.
Work EnvironmentFast-paced environment, working under pressure, and willing to relocate.
LanguageEnglish language proficiency.
