Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Gas Bar Manager to join our team at Riverbend Co-op. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of gas bar attendants, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in our gas bar operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and personalized service to all customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Lead and motivate a team of gas bar attendants to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards, including health and safety protocols, loss prevention measures, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team performance and knowledge.
- Monitor and maintain gas bar operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall customer experience.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment, preferably in the gas bar or convenience store industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive and memorable experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of integrity and accountability.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to fulfill physical job requirements, including manual labor.
