Bar Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager Assistant to join our team at Outlook Motor Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for assisting the Bar Manager in the day-to-day operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Cost Control
Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal profitability and efficiency.
Operational EvaluationEvaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall guest experience.
Revenue ManagementMonitor revenues to determine labor costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
Inventory ManagementOrganize and maintain inventory to ensure that all necessary supplies are available and that stock levels are optimized.
Customer ServiceAddress customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, maintaining a safe and responsible bar environment.
Requirements- Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Work SettingWilling to relocate to a rural area.
CertificationsFood and beverage server trade certification is an asset.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities- Work Environment
Fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure.
Work Hours30 to 40 hours per week.
Work LanguageEnglish is the primary language spoken in this role.
