Director of Operations

Earn a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year as the Director of Operations at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Kelowna Airport.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Food & Beverage leadership experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience. They will be responsible for effectively managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the hotel's operations, ensuring smooth flow of hotel services and acting as an escalation contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for customer service, hotel cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day hotel operations to ensure smooth flow of hotel services and act as escalation contact.
  • Reviews guest feedback with leadership team and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken.
  • Stays visible and interfaces with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.

  • A team player who has the ability to deal with all levels of management, employees and owners in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to delegate responsibilities, organize projects, and establish priorities consistent with hotel objectives.
  • Hospitality Experience- currently in a Senior Leadership role with a minimum of 5 years of Food & Beverage leadership experience.
