Freight Traffic Operations Manager

The North Transportation is seeking a skilled Freight Traffic Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating daily operations, monitoring department performance, and planning and organizing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor department performance to identify areas for improvement
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
- Plan for changes to schedules and policies to ensure smooth operations
- Arrange for shipping documentation and track goods in transit
- Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
- Monitor revenue and adjust transportation service rates as needed
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 30 hours per week
