- Monitor Department Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the department is meeting its goals and objectives.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to optimize daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
- Plan for Changes to Schedules and Policies: Anticipate and prepare for changes to schedules and policies, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal impact on operations.
- Arrange for Shipping Documentation and Tracking: Oversee the preparation and submission of shipping documentation, as well as the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
- Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Manage the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Revenue: Monitor and adjust transportation service rates to ensure optimal revenue and profitability.
- Record Cargo Information and Performance Metrics: Collect and analyze data on cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, identifying areas for improvement.
- Plan, Organize, Direct, Control, and Evaluate Daily Operations: Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful execution of daily operations.Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week
