Position: Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities


  • The successful candidate will oversee service, manufacturing, and safety activities to meet customer expectations for quality and timeliness.
  • They will coordinate daily operations across multiple departments, including welding, machine building, paint shop, and electrical components.
  • Implementation and maintenance of continuous improvement initiatives will be essential in optimizing production processes and enhancing product quality.
  • The individual must ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be necessary to solve production challenges and streamline workflows.
  • Leadership and development of a team of skilled workers, providing guidance, training, and support, is crucial to achieve departmental goals.
  • Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders will guarantee smooth project execution.
  • Ordering, tracking, and maintaining inventory of parts for warranty items and production needs will be a key responsibility.
  • Providing exceptional customer assistance with repairs and warranty is essential.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in commercial vehicle servicing and manufacturing, preferably within the agricultural equipment sector.
  • A strong technical understanding of welding, machine building, paint shop processes, electrical components, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Well-developed people skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, is crucial.


Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
