Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Magna. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment meets or exceeds customer requirements with respect to safety, quality, flexibility, and throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish process parameters and procedural requirements to police conformance
- Develop, analyze, and implement continuous improvement ideas to meet long-term customer required cost reductions and maintain profitability
- Coordinate and assist in activities for successful attainment of customer quality milestones
- Assist in setting up preventative/predictive maintenance requirements
- Co-ordinate all required actions to resolve quality issues
Requirements
- Mechanical/Manufacturing/Integrated/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable work-related experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in process improvement and troubleshooting within a manufacturing or industrial setting
