The Role
We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our program vendor activities, you'll work closely with staff specialists, customers, and suppliers to ensure cost, delivery, and quality targets are met according to customer requirements and Cosma/Presstran Standards. Your responsibilities will include leading and assessing requirements for new and existing manufacturing processes within the plant, establishing process requirements regarding machine, material, and methods in the quoting stage, launch stage, as well as engineering changes and continuous improvement to new and current production.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned programs from inception to completion.
- Understand and effectively use the Red Flag Process.
- Manage suppliers and balance all requirements.
- Balance the requirements of the program triangle (budget, resources, objectives). Possess advanced knowledge of GD&T to lead CFT and customer discussions.
- Create and interpret Man & Machine Cycle Time Charts.
- Have a working understanding of RSW.
- Understand Sealer/Adhesive dispensing systems with bead detection methods.
- Review product CAD and develop an assembly process.
- Possess advance knowledge of PFMEA development, and RPN reduction.
- Make improvements in dimensional capability through CMM data interpretation, product understanding, tooling understanding, understanding of up-stream inputs, perform tooling adjustments, direct tooling adjustments.
- Be competent in using problem-solving tools; 3L5W, fishbone, is/is not, A3.
- Complete fast responses in time frame requirements effectively without repeat incidents.

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation, including overtime after 44 hours per week, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and 4 personal paid holidays.
