Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing processes, from design to delivery. Your expertise will be critical in driving cost savings, improving quality, and meeting customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead all aspects of assigned programs from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including staff specialists, customers, and suppliers, to develop and implement manufacturing processes.
- Establish process requirements, including machine, material, and method specifications, to ensure efficient and effective production.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, balancing requirements and ensuring seamless execution.
- Apply advanced knowledge of GD&T, CFT, and customer discussions to drive process improvements.
- Develop and interpret Man & Machine Cycle Time Charts to optimize production efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Knowledge of APQP, PDP, GD&T, PPAP, and PFMEA documentation and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
