Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Contract Administrative Assistant. This role will provide administrative and financial support to the Business Strategy and Risk Management unit, maintaining the Ministry's contract-related database, completing financial and procurement duties, and responding to inquiries from internal and field staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Ministry's contract database, templates, reporting, and document archive.
  • Coordinate and lead contract compliance requirements and reporting.
  • Complete, track, and reconcile transfer payments made to service providers and prepare reporting.
  • Administer cash mail records.
  • Facilitate service provider payments.
  • Administer the Ministry's purchase order process and payment of head office expenses.
  • Prepare information to assist management reporting on financial activities.
  • Maintain the Ministry's payment authorization chart.
  • Track and maintain the Ministry's CVA pool.
  • Provide other administrative support as required.
  • Hold a valid Saskatchewan Driver's license.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with changing demands and priorities. They will have knowledge related to contracts, accounting, office administrative policies and procedures, budget, general ledger systems, and computer applications such as Excel and Word.

A formal education program in office administration or a combination of education and experience is typically required for this role.
