The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Contract Administrative Assistant within the Custody, Supervision and Rehabilitation Services (CSRS) division at Central Office.

As a key member of the Business Strategy and Risk Management unit, you will provide contract administrative and financial support, maintaining the Ministry's contract-related database, completing financial and procurement-related duties, and responding to enquiries from internal and field staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the Ministry's contract database, templates, reporting, and document archive
  • Coordinating and leading contract compliance requirements and reporting
  • Completing, tracking, and reconciling transfer payments made to service providers and preparing reporting
  • Administering cash mail records
  • Facilitating service provider payments
  • Administering the Ministry's purchase order process and payment of head office expenses
  • Preparing information to assist management reporting on financial activities
  • Maintaining the Ministry's payment authorization chart
  • Tracking and maintaining the Ministry's CVA pool
  • Providing other administrative support as required

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with changing demands and priorities. They will have knowledge related to contracts, accounting, office administrative policies and procedures, budget, general ledger systems, and computer applications such as Excel and Word.

A valid Saskatchewan Driver's license is required for this position.
