Job Summary

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for the position of Contract Administrative Assistant within the Custody, Supervision and Rehabilitation Services (CSRS) division at Central Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Ministry's contract database, templates, reporting, and document archive.
  • Coordinate and lead contract compliance requirements and reporting.
  • Complete, track, and reconcile transfer payments made to service providers and prepare reporting.
  • Administer cash mail records.
  • Facilitate service provider payments.
  • Administer the Ministry's purchase order process and payment of head office expenses.
  • Prepare information to assist management reporting on financial activities.
  • Maintain the Ministry's payment authorization chart.
  • Track and maintain the Ministry's CVA pool.
  • Provide other administrative support as required.
  • Have a valid Saskatchewan Driver's license.
Requirements
  • Team player working with changing demands and priorities.
  • Responsible, cooperative, flexible, versatile, and adaptable.
  • Knowledge related to contracts, accounting, office administrative policies and procedures, budget, general ledger systems, and computer applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Typically, the knowledge and experience required for this job is obtained through a formal education program such as an office education program and/or a combination of education and experience.
