About the Role
The Dining Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. This includes supervising and training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. You will also be responsible for estimating ingredient and supply requirements, managing inventory, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities
Establish efficient work schedules to meet meal preparation demands
Supervise and coordinate staff activities to ensure timely and quality food service
Train staff in job duties, including food preparation, handling, and presentation
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage
Prepare budget estimates for menu items and supplies
Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
Requirements
No degree required; experience an asset
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
