Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality and Assurance Manager to join our team, providing expertise in quality assurance accountability and continuous quality improvement. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality data and information are available for informed decision-making, contributing to the organization's management team meeting provincial standards, community expectations, and best practice standards.

Salary: $89,631 - $109,048 (Permanent Full Time, 34 hours a week)

About the Role:

The Data Quality and Assurance Manager will lead the development of timely and accurate reports for management, including customized reports, to monitor progress on operational and strategic goals. They will oversee all aspects of research and evaluation, ensuring staff are provided with regular recognition related to the vision and values of the organization. Additionally, the successful candidate will engage and inspire people in providing best outcomes and support a healthy work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develops, refines, and assists with monitoring evidence-informed key performance indicators to measure goals and objectives.
  • Leads the development of reports to monitor progress on operational and strategic goals.
  • Ensures completion of data analysis related to organizational efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Oversees research and evaluation, including research ethics applications, evaluations, literature reviews, data collection, and knowledge mobilization.
  • Assists in implementing service practices ensuring public accountability.
  • Engages and develops people by creating a learning-focused and inclusive team culture.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in business analysis, statistics, and research techniques, and program evaluation.
  • Progressively responsible positions, child welfare experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of child welfare business practice, legislation governing child welfare, and understanding of CAS programs and services, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in quality assurance and control theory and best practice.
  • Knowledge of statistical software and database applications.
