We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at AppleOne. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in our manufacturing processes.
About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in inspecting and testing manufactured products. You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, operating complex measuring machines, and performing inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials, first-off production, and final inspection
- Operate Zeiss CMM machine to measure dimensions and tolerances
- Perform hardness testing and dimensional first-article inspection reports
- Generate and disposition non-conformance reports and communicate with production and engineering departments on quality issues
- Calibrate and control records for inspection tools and maintain accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Above-average competency in math and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inspecting and testing manufactured products in a similar environment
- Familiarity with ISO9000/9001 requirements and geometric dimensioning and tolerance principles
