Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Comfort Keepers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and staff
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Respond to electronic inquiries and provide general information about our services
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Greet clients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate staff member or service area
  • Prepare and type correspondence, forms, and other documents

Support for Diverse Groups
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
  • Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous workers
  • Support the integration of visible minorities into our workplace

Work Environment
  • Permanent full-time position
  • English is the primary language of communication
  • 30-40 hours per week
