Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Workshop Operations Coordinator to join our team at Talent-icit. This is a permanent, daytime position that offers a comprehensive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate repair and maintenance schedules to meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure the organization of tools and accessories in the mechanical workshop.
  • Procure goods and materials from established suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and control maintenance/repair costs.
  • Data entry into the company's maintenance management software and filing system updates.
  • Coordinate logistics, shipping, and receipt of goods, including internal re-routing and shipment of equipment to job sites or designated locations.
  • Process invoices, reconcile with purchase orders, code, verify compliance, submit for approval, and forward to accounting for payment.
  • Maintain WHMIS records and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in heavy machinery or general mechanics.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Sense of responsibility, commitment, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Resourcefulness, autonomy, good judgment, and flexibility.
