Maintenance Planning and Coordination
Develop and implement repair and maintenance schedules to meet internal and external deadlines, collaborating with vendors and internal teams as needed.
Inventory Management
Oversee the management of stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory control and organization of tools and equipment within the workshop.
Prepare and deliver required materials for regular maintenance and planned interventions to the mechanics team.
Purchasing and Supplier Relations
Procure goods and services from established suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and efficient inventory management.
Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to secure optimal pricing and service levels, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
Administrative and Data Management
Enter data accurately into the company's maintenance management software, ensuring up-to-date records of inventory, maintenance schedules, and other relevant information.
File and update documents, including requests, supplier sheets, and other relevant materials, maintaining a well-organized filing system.
Logistics and Shipping Management
Verify the receipt of goods and coordinate internal re-routing and shipping of equipment to job sites or other designated locations.
Prepare and issue shipping documents, including manifests, waybills, and hazardous materials documents, as required.
Invoice Management and Accounting
Receive, verify, and reconcile invoices with purchase orders, coding them accurately and submitting them to the accounting department for payment.
Health and Safety
Maintain accurate records of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma required; 5+ years of relevant experience in workshop operations, inventory management, and purchasing preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; valid driver's license; and strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of heavy machinery or general mechanics an asset; bilingualism (English-French) a plus.
