Manager, Disability and Wellness Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Disability and Wellness Solutions. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our disability and wellness services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of case managers and provide guidance and support on complex cases
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective case management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve client issues and concerns
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and identify new business opportunities
- Assist in the development and implementation of new business initiatives
- Contribute to the growth and profitability of the business unit
- Provide expert advice on disability management and case management best practices
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
- Minimum 5 years of experience in disability management
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Degree in a related field, such as health or business
- Professional certification in disability management, an asset
- Experience with disability management software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of employment standards, CSPAAT/CSST, human rights, collective bargaining, and labor relations
- Personal motivation and ability to learn autonomously
- Experience in employee wellness or HR practices, an asset
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of insurance contracts and principles
- Ability to lead teams through change and uncertainty
