Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bakery Team Member to join our team at Lake Country Radio Cafe. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Scheduling and Supervision: Schedule staff and supervise bakery personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality products.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
As a Bakery Team Member at Lake Country Radio Cafe, you will work in a fast-paced bakery environment with a focus on producing high-quality products. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Relocation costs covered by employer.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
