Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of baked goods and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Production
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods to meet customer demand.
- Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers, to ensure efficient production.
- Quality Control
- Inspect baked goods for quality and presentation, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Identify and address any quality issues promptly, taking corrective action as needed.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related environment.
- Work Setting
- Café or restaurant environment.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Competitive Compensation
- 35 to 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
