Shop Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shop Administrator to join our team at J & P Auto Ltd. & Cliffs Towing. As a Shop Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of parts inventory and ensuring accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Assist with various tasks as assigned by the Shop Manager or required by the team, including supporting the Service Writer Role and Parts Desk.
- Close all Cliff's Tow Bills to J&P chargebacks and maintain accurate records.
- Responsible for opening and closing Body Shop work orders and collaborating with the service department.
- Receive and process customer orders efficiently, verifying part numbers and specifications for accuracy.
- Monitor and address inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective measures to prevent overselling or negative quantities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure compliance.
- Daily close process for all open POs to review and record with accuracy.
- Month end hard close for all PO's, ensuring an accurate inventory snapshot.
- 2-4 years of previous experience in a shop environment.
- Knowledge of Mitchell, ProDemand, and Bolt-On Technologies.
- High School Graduate.
