About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Press'd Sandwich Shop. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance
    • Establish work schedules and ensure compliance with labor laws
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Work Environment
