Job Title: Apartment Building Caretaker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Building Caretaker to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Apartment Building Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our apartment buildings. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
