Job Title: Apartment Building Caretaker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Building Caretaker to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary

The Apartment Building Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our commercial building and shopping centre. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Commercial building or shopping centre experience an asset
