Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team at NAILS FOR YOU UPPER CANADA MALL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring high-quality services, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedule for our nail technicians to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Monitor Quality and Production: Maintain high standards of quality and productivity by monitoring and evaluating the work of our nail technicians.
  • Oversee Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the salon is clean and well-maintained, including the cleaning of specialty and difficult items.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Procure and order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked salon.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Address and resolve any work-related issues or conflicts that may arise, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our nail technicians, providing training and guidance on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
Work Environment and Conditions:

Our nail salon is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods, and you must be comfortable working in a noisy and odorous environment.

Personal Suitability:
  • Organized: You must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliability: You must be reliable and able to maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Team Player: You must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with our nail technicians and other staff members.
Experience and Education:

You must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
