About the Opportunity

The CLHIA is seeking an experienced Business Change Catalyst to support the successful adoption and implementation of new business systems across the organization.

This role will play a critical part in driving organizational change, ensuring smooth transitions, and providing training and support to staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and manage organizational change initiatives to ensure effective adoption of new business systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address potential risks and issues associated with change.
  • Analyze and document change requests, collaborating with the project team to determine priorities and develop solutions.
  • Develop and administer a change control process to ensure orderly and well-managed changes.
  • Provide additional support to individuals struggling to adapt to change.

Supporting Training and User Adoption:

  • Create training documentation and facilitate training sessions for staff and members on new systems.
  • Establish a support network of internal power users and project team members to ensure seamless handover to end-users.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, capturing user experience feedback to inform future technology requirements.

Alignment with Business Requirements:

  • Collaborate with the project team and business users to define, document, and implement new business processes as needed.
  • Support process mapping with vendors and the Implementation Manager to ensure alignment between business needs and system specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of a governance process for business process and application management, including data stewardship within the CLHIA.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience as a business system analyst with change management and application transition expertise.
  • University degree preferred.
  • Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is an asset.
  • Experience working in environments with low technical aptitude among business users and high resistance to change.
  • Experience in the life and health insurance industry or member-based organizations is an asset.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, based on location and experience. The CLHIA offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
