Transformational Opportunity

The Royal Bank of Canada's Business Aligned Services organization has an exciting opportunity for a senior transformation professional to lead large-scale, complex IT infrastructure initiatives. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take on a key, dynamic, and high-profile position with global exposure, engaging with multiple technology functions, and driving change demand from multiple business lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into well-structured, integrated tech infrastructure change initiatives that can be delivered end-to-end to our lines of business.
  • Collaborate with tech infrastructure architecture, engineering, and service teams to define initiatives, capture upfront requirements, and drive customer-centric delivery execution.
  • Help build, customize, and apply delivery methodologies and playbooks to effectively structure initiatives.
  • Drive partnership and customer focus with business stakeholders, ensuring initiative delivery and change meet business needs.
  • Align with tech infrastructure global standards, maximizing re-use and innovation, and supporting regional nuances where necessary.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and outcome-focused self-starter, comfortable with accountability for definition and execution of large, complex programs.
  • Expert knowledge of program plan development & management, scheduling methodology, critical path management, and program/project metrics.
  • Highly skilled in planning, defining, and delivering tech infrastructure aspects of major business-sponsored initiatives of a transformational nature.
  • Ability to lead and motivate technically diverse, globally distributed teams across time zones, with a matrix management approach.
  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, focused on collaborating and developing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
