Aviva is a leading insurance company committed to delivering outstanding service to its customers. We are seeking a Change Management Specialist - Business Enablement to support the IT department in ensuring business, technology, and operational readiness for key projects across Aviva Canada.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of Aviva Canada's Change Portfolio as it relates to technology, including transitioning projects and programs to BAU and ensuring appropriate risk & control is in place.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership, input, and expertise to support technical delivery programs and projects
  • Ensuring business, technology, and operational readiness for key projects across Aviva Canada
  • Forming and supporting technology change management plans, robust communications strategies, learning and development strategies, identification and updating processes & procedures
  • Proactive issues management around people, process, and technology impacts of IT change across the IT department and where applicable, the business
  • Delivering integrated plans to support safe delivery of change, including coordination activities as required, working alongside project team members

Requirements:

  • Experience of large-scale organizational change, considering customer, market, and internal factors (within technology or IT a bonus)
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and presentation communication skills
  • Good awareness of risk, control, & governance requirements and ideally have worked in a highly regulated environment

Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
