About the Role

Nicola Wealth seeks a Change Management Specialist to drive the adoption of new processes and technologies. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Change Management, the successful candidate will support the Business Transformation Team in implementing change management plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans to drive higher levels of engagement.
  • Conduct thorough Change Impact Assessments and validation exercises with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks by consulting and coaching stakeholders.
  • Create or support the creation of Stakeholder Engagement and Communication plans.
  • Prepare key messages, leadership talking points, and communication collateral.
  • Create and support change champion plans to scale up support during project launch and sustainment phases.
  • Manage feedback mechanisms and work closely with the project team to action on feedback received.
  • Proactively manage key stakeholder relationships to support and monitor change adoption.
  • Interact with stakeholders to define the rate of adoption and identify gaps to be addressed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' Change Management or Internal Communications experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
  • Prosci certificate and/or Business Communication certification is considered an asset.
  • Financial services experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to apply system thinking in dealing with change resistance.
  • Ability to identify pain points and coach stakeholders on best practices.
