Atlantic Region Wireline Delivery Manager

We're seeking an experienced Wireline Delivery Manager to join our team in Atlantic Canada. As a key member of our Technology group, you'll be responsible for the successful execution of large-scale, complex projects within our Wireline division.

The OpportunityThis full-time position involves managing multiple CAPEX and OPEX network-related activities in the Wireline side of the company. You'll oversee the implementation, execution, and closure of projects dealing with wireline uplift services, network adds, and augmentations. Your primary focus will be on delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget, in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage large-scale, cross-functional projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget management.
- Direct the implementation, execution, and closure of projects related to wireline uplift services, network adds, and augmentations.
- Based on project requirements, identify and govern overall scope, deliverables, and interdependencies to meet project objectives and in-service targets.
- Expertly manage project cost estimating, budgeting, and control activities to meet budgetary objectives.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with project sponsors and network stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Proactively monitor, track, and control project outcomes by mitigating risks and resolving issues to ensure overall business readiness.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including issue logs, risk management plans, and status reports.
- A post-secondary education in engineering or a related field (e.g., 2-year technology diploma).
- At least 4 years of experience in project management or coordination, delivering large-scale, complex projects, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- PMP certification is an asset.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Oracle, and PowerPoint.
- Strong financial forecasting and cost management skills.
- A strategic thinker with excellent decision-making, planning, and implementation skills.
- Mastery of negotiation, influencing, stakeholder management, communication, and business writing skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate project scope, cost, and schedule to senior leadership teams.
