Human Resources Strategic Partner

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide strategic support to our Vice President of Human Resources and contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives across designated divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations into discrimination and unfair employment practices, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
- Manage employment-related legal files from initial stages to resolution, collaborating with internal and external counsel as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees on various subjects and soft skills, addressing business needs and improving organizational effectiveness.
- Implement HR initiatives, policies, and procedures, providing guidance to employees to ensure alignment across all locations.
- Administer collective bargaining agreement clauses and general union issues, responsible for negotiating the collective agreement within company guidelines.
- Participate in special projects as assigned, driving the Company's standardized processes into the facility.
- Proactively manage employee issues, including leaves, attendance, ethics points, and other employee-related matters requiring HR involvement.
Requirements:
- Experience working as an HR generalist or manager, serving an internal client group with diverse HR matters.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing both French and English.
- Previous experience working with coworkers or clients in both languages.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors would be an asset.
- Understanding of P&L concepts would be beneficial.
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries is desirable.
- CHRL certification complete or in progress.
- University degree or college diploma.
- Comfortable with frequent travel to Eastern Canada.
What We Offer:
Rexel Canada Electrical Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to the Canadian marketplace. The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
